Overview
I worked on the encounter design team where I led the design on the tutorial mission plus 3 other main missions in the game. My main role was to make sure the encounters and combat experience was intense and fun to play.
Responsibilities
The lead on multiple, multi-part missions as the combat designer, where I was expected to work with campaign and narrative design on building exciting and engaging combat encounters
Scripted combat encounters which includes engaging players with fun enemy compositions & creating a good sense of pacing where each level ebbs and flows in difficulty and excitement
Created various design tool improvements to help empower other designers to create tense, more fun combat encounters
